These records were transcribed from Microfiche
8 to 11 in the collection of the Norfolk Record Office. This filming is
of a considerable age and its quality is poor with faded images and lacking
contrast. The quality of the original records were also clearly poor and
there were occasions were checks had to be made with the Bishop's Transcripts
to arrive at a readable image. Given these difficulties it would have been helpful if the clerics' handwriting was good. sadly even this was rare in this parish. A most difficult transcript and it is expected that errors may have occurred. It is to be hoped these are few and that this doesn't detract from the overall aim of the transcript. |
