Baptisms 1813 to 1880
Loddon is a small market town mid-way between Norwich and the Suffolk border (at Beccles). Not a major centre it is very much a "second-division" market town smaller and more self-contained than larger settlements such as Wymondham, Aylsham & North Walsham. Holy Trinity church sits in a large open area in the centre of the town, detached from the surrounding properties this large and imposing church dominates the area. |

These enties were transcribed from microfiche 10 to 14 of the Norfolk Record collection and were largely clear and easy to read. At times the rather tiny handwriting of the incumbant left guesswork as the best solution to a name. |
