Births 1813 to 1836
The Baptist Chapel of St Mary lies directly across St Mary's plain from the ancient Anglican Church of St Mary Coslany, in Norwich-over-the-Water. The chapel was founded at the end of the 17th century and survived in various guises until 1942 when the building was destroyed by German bombing during World War II. The present chapel was built in 1953 and is still active in the city. |
No deposited records for the chapel exist for the period of this transcript, however a register deposited at the National Archives covering births for 1813 to 1836 has been preserved and was used to provide this transcript. It should be noted that this is a register of births, the sequencing number is merely to aide in locating the original entry and indicates the order in which the events were recorded in the register. |
