These records were transcribed from Microfiche 5 & 6 in the collection of the Norfolk Record Office. To say these fiche were rather poor is being polite. The filming is faint, of poor contrast and frankly is very hard to read. Frequent cross-referncing to the Bishop's Transcripts was necessary and these were also in a poor state. Consequently there is a large caveat regarding potential error in this transcript. This was a very difficult piece of transcription and it is to be hoped that the effort expended has not resulted in too many errors. |
