1813 to 1880 Baptism Project Strumpshaw St Peter |
Baptisms 1813 to 1880
Strumpshaw parish sits in the
valley of the River Yare to the east of Norwich and south of the main
A47 Norwich to Great Yarmouth road. The village is on higher ground around
St Peter's church whilst the parish extends south to the river itself.
By the river stands the RSPB reserve of Strumpshaw Fen, a haunting reminder
of the area's past with Marsh Harriers and Bitterns. |

These records were transcribed from Microfilm MF707 in the collection of the Norfolk Record Office. The filming was clear throughout and in general the incumbant's hand was quite legible. It is to be hoped that there will be few errors in this transcript. |
