Baptisms 1866 to 1880
The Thurlton Wesleyan chapel (also variously described as United Methodist Free Church) was one of a number of small chapels founded in the mid-Victorian era from larger circuits. In Thurlton's case this came from the Norwich circuit. Given the small number of baptisms listed in the 14 years covered by the transcript this was clearly only a small group. The few records are filmed on Microfilm MF1730 in the collection of the Norfolk Record Office and from which this transcript was prepared. The film is a very recent production with crisp and clear images and the original register was clearly also in a good condition as this was a very straightforward transcript to prepare. |
