Baptisms 1813 to 1880
The village of Warham in northern Norfolk comprises two
parishes, All Saints & St Mary. The village is located close to the
north Norfolk coast and about 2 miles southeast of the small port town
of Wells next the Sea. Warham is sited on a narrow lane which crosses
coastal hills before descending to a crossing of the River Stiffkey. All
Saints parish is the lower, easternmost of the two parishes. It has the
larger population with about 400 parishioners. |

A single standard 800-entry register covers the period of the transcript and runs to 1893. This register is filmed on Microfiche 6 & 7 in the collection of the Norfolk Record Office and from which this transcript was prepared. The fiche are, regrettably, rather elderly with poor quality images making for difficult reading at time. Fortunately images are present on Familysearch for this register and much reference was made to them to achieve a clear record. As a result this was a straightforward transcript to prepare and it is to be hoped that few errors will have crept into its production. |
