Unfortunately the register which covers the
period of the transcript has yet to be deposited with the Norfolk Record
Office. As a consequence the only records for the period in the public domain
are the Bishop's Transcripts. These BTs have been filmed on annual microfiche
and from these this transcript has been prepared. Equally unfortunately
there are a few years missing from the series and these have caused the
gaps in the numbering. The BTs were unusually clear for once and the majority
were legible so despite these caveats this was a straightforward transcript
to prepare. Should the register eventually be deposited then these records will be verified and the missing entries added. |
